I really don’t like posting on her blog myself but I’m in a situation that warrants it. Me and my girlfriend were kicked out by our roommates a couple of weeks ago, so I drove to Los Angeles with her to try and find a programming job there. However, we don’t have the money to last us much longer, so I’m posting here to ask for help.

I can’t find my previous post but everything I had saved went towards rent/student loan for December. I still haven’t been paid because I’m a new hire at my job, my hours are being cut and I’ve barely been scheduled the past week and a half and won’t really be during Hanukkah either. I’m extremely grateful for the help I have received but I need help to be able to afford to audit language classes at my university as a visiting student. I hope to take two classes which are $125 each for a total of $250. It is essential for my future to learn these languages and for what I will pursue in graduate school. Visual references are preferred, of course, but not required! I can work on just a detailed description as well if you need, and I always ask questions and periodically show my customers the progress I’m making on their piece to make sure they’re getting what they want.
Since I am now in the middle of the school semester, I will have to balance my workload a bit more than before. Thus I will most likely only take about 2-3 commission slots at a time. I also may have to turn down especially large/elaborate requests (Though I’m only really talking like, something with 4 or more full-body characters on a complex background etc.,) just because again, I do need to save time and energy for my schoolwork. If you’re unsure about what I’d be willing to do though, please feel free to ask!
